Tour Itinerary

Day 1 – Monuments & Memorials

Once you arrive in Washington DC, you will visit begins with a visit to the Arlington National Cemetery where you will see the moving “Changing of the Guard” Ceremony. Afterwards, your group will visit the National Museum of the American Indian where you will learn about the earliest inhabitants of this nation. Next you will see the most-popular monuments and memorials dedicated to brave men and women throughout history.

Government SitesDay 2 – Capitol Hill & More

Today you will visit the seat of Congress at the Capitol Building. You will explore the Capitol with your guide and see the amazing history this building has to offer. You will also visit the Library of Congress, the Supreme Court and you will take a Group Photo at the White House. Finish off the day with a visit to the National Archives where the Constitution of the United States is kept (and other historical documents) or visit one of the Smithsonian Museums.

Mt Vernon TourDay 3 – Mt Vernon & More

On our final day to Washington D.C. you will explore sites such as the Frederick Douglass House, Ford’s Theatre with the Petersen House, and Mt. Vernon. You will have the option of visiting the Air & Space Museum, the National Museum of African-American History & Culture, or one of the other Smithsonian Museums.
