Boston Student Trips, Class Tours and More...
Boston was established as a city long before the United States became a country. Located on the eastern shores of Massachusetts, Boston is perfectly situated as a great destination for a student group or class trip. Boston is rich in history and has many amazing historical sites to prove it. The Freedom Trail is the most obvious example. The trail winds around Boston and includes sites like the Old North Church (One if by Land, Two if by Sea..), the Old South Meeting House, the USS Constitution, the site of the Boston Massacre, Paul Revere's home, and several other great sites to see and visit.
Located just outside of the city you can find the Lexington and Concord Trail. This historical trail follows the events of the first day of the American Revolution, when shots were fired at the Lexington Green. It also includes the Bridge near Concord where the Colonists repelled British forces and turned the tide of this long day of battle.
Boston is also home to several great educational attractions which are not associated with history. The Boston Museum of Science is a very popular attraction. MIT (the Massachusetts Institute of Technology) also offers a great museum dedicated to science and technology and much more.
The New England Aquarium, located across the bay from Logan Airport, has countless sea creatures displayed in a multilevel spiral water tank. This attraciton is very popular with student groups.
Boston and the surrounding area have so much to offer groups of all ages. It is easy to see why this destination is one of the most-popular locations for student tours in the United States.
